Owner & Project Executive
Mr. Moran has 30+ years of diverse functional and international experience in both the private and public sectors. His professional portfolio includes being a Steering Committee member of Artisan Capital Ventures and cooperative advisor to academic, public policy, industry, and other non-profit organizations.
Prior to founding TSM in 2006, Mr. Moran led teams in a variety of high-technology manufacturing, service, and special project environments. This experience includes strategy and corporate development for a multi-billion dollar defense business unit of Honeywell Aerospace, business process excellence for Ingersoll-Rand, management consulting client-service and practice development for Deloitte, and 14 years of distinguished military service as a trainee and commissioned Intelligence Officer in the United States Regular Army and Army Reserve. Mr. Moran’s military service included responsible roles in the Defense Attaché System, the Pentagon Joint Intelligence Staff, and the Army’s Intelligence & Security Command in support of the Global War on Terrorism and other operations in Southwest Asia, Latin America, and Southeastern Europe.
Jeff is a graduate of the Construction Executive Program of the FMI Corporation. His industry credentials also include certification in advanced construction project management from the Mechanical Contractors’ Association of America and numerous other federal construction and procurement-related certificates from the US National Defense Acquisition University, Army Finance & Comptroller School, Army Corps of Engineers, and the Small Business Administration. Mr. Moran also has an applied engineering diploma from Minnesota State University.
Mr. Moran’s academic credentials include a BSFS (honors) from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, and joint LLM-MS degrees in international law, negotiations, and policymaking from executive programs of the Université de Genève-IHEID in Switzerland.
